This is my homage to the guitars uniquely designed in the 1930's by Mario Maccaferri, manufactured and sold by the Selmer company, and widely recognized as the guitars employed by Django Reinhardt and the Quintette du Hot Club de France.  My take is to keep true to the original soundboard style which have a very thin top bent into a significant dome over arched braces.  Coupled with solid wood back and sides, a hollow floating bridge, and an extra long scale length over a very playable neck, this guitar is a powerful performer, punching notes across the room, while maintaining it's elegant, art-deco look.
